The Departments of Statistics of the University of Barcelona and the department of Statistics and Operations Research of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, at the request of the Spanish Society of Biometrics, are pleased to announce the XIIIth edition of the Spanish Biometry Conference and the 3rd Ibero-American Biometry meeting, to be held in Barcelona, 7 to 9 of September, 2011. The event will take place at the Faculty of Biology and the Faculty of Mathematics and Statistics, both located at the Diagonal Campus.

We invite the scientific community interested in the development and application of mathematical and statistical methods in biology, medicine, psychology, pharmacology, agriculture, bioinformatics and related life sciences, as well as workers in public administration or private enterprises interested in these matters, to participate in the event.
